Time Wasters 2004

2008 | 2007 | 2006 | 2005 | 2004 | 2003

Time Wastser 2004It's time once again to publish our latest list of really terrific places to waste time on the web.

Big Idea Fun
The games on this site are silly but fun. You can select from four areas: Jonah, A Veggie Tale Movie, veggietales, penguins, and larryboy. Help Larryboy lock up the evil Alchemist. In Doom Funnel Chasers use the giant penguin slingshot to shoot duct tape balls into the doom funnels. I spent rather a lot of time on that particular game. Of course you can always play Spaced Penguins and use the giant penguin slingshot to get Kevin back in his space ship. I also enjoyed messing about in Larry's Lab. You can shrink things, make things explode...all kinds of great reactions.

Fly the Copter
Fly the radio controlled copter and beat the game creators high score. I'll admit, I'm really bad at this one.

Orsinal
Lots of little games. Some are interesting. Others are confusing. You'll waste a good deal of time figuring out which ones are worth playing. I liked V-Force, but then I like shoot em up games.

Escape!
Keep the blue blocks from touching the red block. Don't touch the out of bounds border. Sounds simple. After a little practice I kept my red block safe for 13 seconds. The more you practice the better you get. But of course being good at this game has no real life practical application.

Supercar
Sit through the intro flash to get to the supercar gear shift navigation. It's fun just messing with the gear shift knob, but you'll want to put in portfolio to play Pyramid Surfing - a game created for a Vacation Bible School CD.

Yeti Sports
Pingu Throw - If you time it just right you can get the yeti to whack the penguin with his bat and send the penguin flying past the 300 marker. Of course you can also miss the penguin, send it sliding on its belly, or make it land beak first in the snow. In Orca Slap your goal is to smack the penguin with a snowball propelling it into the target. This site has been expanded and now requires a free registration.

Leonard Nimoy Sings the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins
Long, long ago, in a galazy far far away...no that's another science fiction venue. Star Trek fans, Lord of the Rings fans, and those just interested in weird pop culture stuff will want to waste a couple of minutes listening to Leonard Nimoy sing about the greatest little hobbit of them all, Bilbo Baggins.

The staff at EHO try very hard to answer all our mail. We have had many of our responses to email returned as undeliverable. We also delete unread a great deal of spam. If your email message header sounds like it is spam, it will be deleted. "You Should See This!" or "Have I got something great for you" are examples of subject lines that would be deleted unread. If you use 'EHO' in the subject line it will not be deleted unread. If you have not received an answer to your question, please resend your email. We usually have a delay of 1 to 2 weeks in answering email because of the number of requests we get. Those wishing to request links to our site should read our linking page before writing us. All our resources are posted online. We do not mail information to postal addresses.
