Time Wasters 2006

2008 | 2007 | 2006 | 2005 | 2004 | 2003

Bubble Struggle
I can't play this game. I can get the first bubble, but that's it. See if you can do better.

Save the Earth
This is a really fun game where you get to save the earth from oncoming asteroids and alien space craft. You can play this game for a really long time.

Pepsi NEX
This almost too painful to play, but I managed to play any way.

Jackson Pollock
This site allows you to create your own version of a Jackson Pollack painting. Clicking changes colors. Get blobs by remaining in one spot and thin lines by drawing with your cursor.

Peugot Parking Game
Yes, I know you can park a car. But can you park the cars in this game? Careful, it's important not to back up until it sounds expensive.

Stealth Hunter
Train to become a stealth hunter. You'll train to move in stealth mode, snap the necks of your opponents and plant C4. Not for those who dislike violence.

Flat War
Another violent game in which you must kill the terrorist looking people trying to take over your flat

Deal or No Deal
I'd never watched this game on television. I think practicing on this site would be a good idea for anyone wanting to go on the tv show. I just wish I could have really won the half million dollars.

Line Rider
I seem to make the little line rider crash more than succeed. I obviously need to waste more time and perfect my line drawing techniques.

Irritating Games
Not only can you be wasting time, but with site you can really irritate yourself for absolutely no earthly reason.

Double Wires
Pretend your Spiderman and swing through the air. Just make sure you don't miss sticking your wire to one of the helpful blobs.

Optus Tennis Challenge
Keep the ball in the air, but don't let it touch the ground. Hints: try to keep it so you can always see it and try to hit it so it goes straight up.

Bubble Wrap
Pop computer bubble wrap to your hearts content. A fresh sheet is just a click away.

You've Been Warned
Cow abduction is a very real and growing problem we must all fight.

It starts out simple. Use the arrow keys to control the claw, pick up the blue orb, and drop it in the goal without hitting anyl obstacles. But then the obstacles are placed in ever more diabolical configurations.

Falling Sand Game
The ultimate in time wasting. Use your mouse to draw lines that will allow the sand to collect and flow in new and if you're inventive interesting ways.

Sky Fire
Defeat the evil Nazis cloned zombie pilots by shooting them down. An arcade style shoot-em-up.

Real Pool
Play pool against the computer. Line your shots up and use just the right amount of force with your cue to make your balls go in the pockets.

The Song Tapper
This site lets you search for a song, by tapping the rhythm of its words (lyrics). I tapped in the first two lines of Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer and got ten possible songs including Rudolph. Apparently Amazing Grace and the Pink Panther song have the same rhythm. But I'm not seeing it.

Yeti Sports Icicle Climb
OK, I never got above 7.345. I just can't seem to plant the icicles in evenly. I'd think the Yeti would wear out with all that jumping. If Pingu weren't a penguin, he'd probably freeze waiting on me to plant an icicle in his climbing range. One could spend a great deal of time here trying to get a better score.

Circle Break
Using the two paddels at the edge of the circle bounce the balls back and forth to break the circles. Game Creator, "Our top score was 138,700 on level 12. Beat that!" Not in my lifetime. That would require more timewasting than I can spare for one game. Still if I could just coordinate my left and right arrow keys better....

Lite Brite on Your Computer
Just like the in-real-life Lite Brite. Pick your color and place your pegs. And never dump the pegs all over the floor. (Kudos: Kelly)

Blue Man Group - Create Your Own Artwork
If creating art by fingerpainting, shooting Jell-o, marshmallows, Captain Crunch, paint balloons, and confetti, and placing twinkies into your masterpiece sounds like fun, then visit this site and create a way. Oh, and you can send a link to your masterpiece to all your friends so they can enjoy your creativity, too. (Kudos: Kelly)

Use your keyboard to create your own jam session. Note: this is loud, do not do this while working in your cubicle or when you are pretending to be doing something worthwhile and really playing timewasters.

Snow Ball Fight!
Smack Buddy and the other elves with snowballs, but woe to you if you hit Santa.

Make your own snowflake using the animated scissors and paper. You can save your snowflake to download or email.

Holiday Snowglobe
Shake this little holiday world.

X-Entertainment's 1980's Commercials
If you've missed the 1980's, this will be a walk down memory lane.

The Great Gonzo's Ridiculously Dangerous and Downright Foolish Stunt Game
You have the power to see that Gonzo safely blasts from his cannon into his professional bucket of stunt water.

Squares Game 2
A deviously captivating game. All you really have to do is avoid the red things and get the black things. Well there's a little more to it....

What Dog Are You?
Let CATS (Canine Algorithmic Transfer System™ ) determine what kind of dog you would be. Answer ten short questions and receive your results including a nice movie of your dog that you can place on your own website. (Look for the game link on the opening page.)

You know you've always wanted to catch flies with chopsticks.

High Wheels
It's hard to describe, but take a spin and gather some dots yourself.

Place the State
Cam you put the outline of each state in its proper place on a map of the United States? It requires accuracy.

A montage of images is shown and you must guess the keyword that generated those images from Google image search. Requires version 8 or higher of the Flash player.

Jack's Arcade
Been missing games like Frogger, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, PacMan and Pong? Now you can play them again online at Jack's Arcade.

Throw Paper
Can you get the paperwad in the trashcan. That fan makes things tricky.

FilmWise's Invisibles Quizzes
Guess the movie by looking at a scene where the actors are invisible. Oh, their clothes are still there. They look like the invisible man. Each week a new quiz is posted. You can submit your answers to try and get on the site's Top Scorers list.

N Game
For all you Ninja wannabes, test your speed, agility, reflexes and jumping power.

Stack the Cats
The cats will meow and hiss as you attempt to stack them in groups of four or more, Ignore the old lady. Most of the cats don't seem to mind playing the game.

Avoid the falling black triangles. Catch the red spots. The high score in this game is 39997. I'm not sure how that's possible.

Tangram Game
This tangram game has you playing for points. The faster you solve the series of puzzles along the side of your screen the more points you receive. There's even an option to allow cheats.

Shave Your Yeti
What is under all that fur. Careful, I think shaving tickles the Yeti. You really will feel like you've wasted your time if you do this. There's now a reward if you completely save the Yeti.
