  • Fleece Tied Blanket
Follow these directions and make a warm, no-sew blanket using two pieces of fleece. Perfect for snuggling together on St. Valentine's Day!
  • Ice-Crystal Lantern
This crystal lantern may be as cold as ice, but it's guaranteed to cast a warm, welcoming light on a winter night. To make one, you'll need water, a large metal mixing bowl, a plastic yogurt container, a cupful of small stones or coins and, of course, freezing temperatures.
  • Pretzel Log Cabin
Presidents’ Day is a great time to teach kids about how our forefathers grew up in log cabins and worked the land with their own two hands. This is a fun and edible history lesson in the making!
  • Puffy Heart
This fun craft project is perfect for group settings. Few supplies are needed and it can be altered for younger age groups.
  • Sew Valentine's Day Cards
Sewing cards for Valentine’s Day are great project for beginner and experienced sewers alike.
  • Spring in a Bottle
If it feels like spring's taking too long to sprout, liven up a winter windowsill by making this mini greenhouse -- a recycled take on a cloche, traditionally used outdoors to protect early plantings.
  • Tissue Paper Stained Glass Hearts
Make it from different shades of pink and red tissue paper. Hang it in the window and watch the sun shine through.
  • Valentine Butterflies
With a body made of chewing-gum sticks and licorice-whip antennae, this valentine will be lucky to make it through lunchtime.
  • Valentine or Mother's Day Corsages
This is an inexpensive way to make corsages for grandmothers, friends, and teachers. We purchase nearly all our materials at local dollar stores.
  • Valentine Paper Cutting Crafts
Get ready for Valentine's Day by making your own valentines. Assorted colors of construction paper can be used, or try origami paper or gift wrap for lovely valentines.
  • Warm Fuzzy Craft
Make this simple craft project. It makes a fun toy or a unique gift.
  • Washington's Wig
The students make their own George Washington's wig and act out a few lines that George Washington spoke from a lesson in their History books as if they were George Washington himself.

The staff at EHO try very hard to answer all our mail. We have had many of our responses to email returned as undeliverable. We also delete unread a great deal of spam. If your email message header sounds like it is spam, it will be deleted. "You Should See This!" or "Have I got something great for you" are examples of subject lines that would be deleted unread. If you use 'EHO' in the subject line it will not be deleted unread. If you have not received an answer to your question, please resend your email. We usually have a delay of 1 to 2 weeks in answering email because of the number of requests we get. Those wishing to request links to our site should read our linking page before writing us.
