Homeschool News Blogger
We need someone willing to keep the HSBlog up to date with homeschool news. This requires you to do news searches on specific keywords and then post your findings to the HSBlog using the WordPress blogging system.

Time Requirement: 15 - 30 minutes every few days. Daily would be nice, but we know homeschoolers are busy.

Database Assistant
Our database assistants are involved in entering information into the EHO databases. This is a forms based system accessible via your web browser. You do not need to have any knowledge of databases.

Duties: Duties will vary according to the work assigned. There is need for someone working with the Reviews database and the resource center database.

Requirements:

• Ability to work on deadline.
• Understand how to cut and paste from a text document into an Internet form.
• Understanding of good grammar and spelling.
• Time requirement: Approximately 8 hours a month.

Link Checker
Link checkers check all links going to external websites from EHO. These need to be done by hand a page at a time. Changes to links are made using our admin area, which require the ability to cut and paste into a form. Link checkers must also have the ability to track down websites that may have moved. Training is available if you don't know how to do that.

Time requirement: Approximately 1 hour per week.

Compensation

All EHO volunteer positions are unpaid positions. There are currently no paid positions at EHO. Your primary compensation will be in knowing that you are helping to serve over 100,000 homeschoolers each month. We get emails from our readers telling us how our resources have made homeschooling easier for them.
