This is another one of Amanda Bennett's new CD titles and, like all of the others, another excellent product. Considering the diminishing teachings of America's "true" history, it is delightful that American Heroes brings back the importance of learning about our heritage. The new CD format allows for different learning styles, which means you can use it again and again...money well spent.

You'll begin with Columbus, then move on to the Father of Virginia (John Smith), to the men who explored the Mississippi, to the well-known William Penn, into the First Day of the Revolution, and through a Winter at Valley Forge, next you'll visit with Daniel Boone, Lewis and Clark, Dolly Madison, David Crockett, and Christopher Carson. The grand adventure ends with Abraham Lincoln! The notebook pages come complete with wonderful graphics and photos. You'll even find lined notebook pages for various writing assignments. If you'd rather not use the notebook pages, you can spend your time filling in the Timeline that's provided. Personally, I would use both in conjunction with one another. You can move at your own pace allowing ample time for supplemental activities.

The most valuable aspect of having everything on CD is that you can print as many copies as needed instead of having to buy extra books for the other children in your family!

Everything is presented in an easy format, yet filled with a wealth of learning opportunities and information. Another "classic" from Amanda Bennett!

The staff at EHO try very hard to answer all our mail. We have had many of our responses to email returned as undeliverable. We also delete unread a great deal of spam. If your email message header sounds like it is spam, it will be deleted. "You Should See This!" or "Have I got something great for you" are examples of subject lines that would be deleted unread. If you use 'EHO' in the subject line it will not be deleted unread. If you have not received an answer to your question, please resend your email.
