Everyone is always trying to get organized...or at least thinks about it! There are so many organizational books out there, which one do you choose?

First, look for one that is simple. You'll never read a book that has 925 pages! This is the first aspect of this title that appealed to me. It is a small, yet informative book that will help anyone who is serious about getting organized.

Written specifically for busy parents, Ms. Williams' book addresses the most critical topics in such a way it that doesn't induce even more stress! In seven well-laid-out chapters, she covers everything from vertical organizing to spring cleaning.

Chapter One begins with creating an action plan and provides a four-step process. One of my great struggles is the paper clutter that my husband swears he can identify at any given moment, which supposedly makes it unnecessary to throw anything away. Ms. Williams shows you how to manage paper clutter and even gives you the addresses to remove your name from the lists of telemarketers, junk mail senders and even junk faxes.

Chapter Two discusses home management and how to get everyone to work as a team.

Chapter Three shows you how to conquer common clutter and get your closets, kitchen, collections, and kids in order.

Chapter Four shows the new parent how to become organized and gives holiday organizing tips.

Chapters Five and Six cover office and time management. Learn what multi-tasking is and how to apply it to your everyday schedule; learn to set priorities and design an effective system. Most importantly, she shows you how to schedule time for work, self and family...something we all need some help in!

Chapter Seven gets down and dirty with bathroom basics and spring cleaning for the housework impaired.

At the end of the book you'll find websites, addresses and phone numbers to companies that supply the items she has suggested you use.

You'll be greatly inspired by her suggestions. I was thrilled to see that many of the organizing tips she discusses are what I have been using for quite some time now. I'm always asked how I get so many things done! So, it is possible to follow her steps and become a multi-tasking, bathroom cleaning, paper clutter-busting, mom and wife!
